The Food Pantry plays a vital role in reducing food insecurity across Beaverhead County, providing reliable access to nutritious food for individuals, families, children, seniors, and anyone experiencing financial hardship.
As food costs keep rising and more households struggle to make ends meet, the pantry is a critical safety net, and it is there for everyone who needs it, served with dignity and compassion.

Beaverhead Brigade was built on a simple belief: transportation should never keep a child or family from taking part in the community they call home.
Its after-school transportation program gets kids home safely after their activities and gives working parents real peace of mind.

BCHS Choirs, May 2026
For many years, Dillon Friends of Music (DFOM) has enriched the lives of local students by partnering with our school district's music programs. Run entirely by parents and local music lovers, the nonprofit builds on the base funding our schools provide, adding musical experiences, essential equipment, and room for students to grow.
What your United Way gift does here
Student travel. Help with costs for Northwest NAfME Honor Choirs and Bands and ACDA Honor Choirs, plus housing for All-Star Band, All-Star Choir, and All-Northwest events.
Music experiences. DMS Youth Sing and Massed Band tuition for Dillon Middle School students, and the Treble, Tenor Bass, and Barbershop Festivals for high school students.

Beyond the grant
With help from generous community members, DFOM also supports:
Summer music camp and college scholarships

Professional development for music teachers
Montana Opera tickets for students
Thanks to the Great Harvest Bake Sale and community donors, DFOM recently bought new Clavinova keyboards so students can rehearse in practice rooms, ending the recurring cost of tuning old pianos.
Lend a hand
DFOM needs parent and community volunteers to give a little time to simple organizational tasks. No music background required, just a desire to support students. The group meets every other month to plan for the financial needs of our school music programs.
