Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As the leaves begin to turn and Dillon settles into the rhythm of fall, I’m honored to welcome you to the official kickoff of the United Way of Beaverhead County’s annual campaign. This season marks more than just a change in weather—it’s a time when our community comes together to support one another, to invest in hope, and to build a stronger, more resilient Beaverhead County.

United Way has long been a cornerstone of compassion in our region. From supporting early childhood education and food security to funding mental health services and emergency assistance, your contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. Of every dollar raised, 98% stays right here in Beaverhead County, helping local nonprofits deliver critical services to those who need them most.

This year, our theme is “Rooted in Community. Growing Together.” It reflects the deep ties we share and the belief that when one of us thrives, we all do. Our campaign goal this year is $165,000, and with your help, we know we can reach it. That funding will go directly toward strengthening the programs and partnerships that make Beaverhead County a place of dignity, opportunity, and care.

Whether you’re a longtime supporter or considering your first gift, I invite you to be part of this movement. Your generosity fuels programs that change lives—and in many cases, save them.

We know times are challenging for many. That’s why we’re asking everyone to give what they can, whether it’s a financial contribution, volunteering your time, or simply spreading the word. Together, we can meet our campaign goal and ensure that Beaverhead County remains a place where kindness, dignity, and opportunity flourish.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in the power of community. Let’s make this campaign our most impactful yet.

Thank you again for your continued support,

Bonnie Harry, President

Our United Way was established in January of 1990 as an employee giving program by employees of Pfizer. The founding members very quickly realized the impact of United Way would be much broader if opened up to the entire Beaverhead County Community so it soon became a county-wide program.

We strive to be a model of for all local non-profits and work hard to make sure every donor and every recipient of our funds have the utmost confidence in our process. Please free to contact us if you have any comments about our organization or any of our programs.
